Trainee Power Station Operators
Our organization is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to fill the role of Trainee Power Station Operators. The selected candidates will undergo an 18-month structured program, resulting in the attainment of both Queensland Workplace Health and Safety occupation licences as an Advanced Boiler (BA) and Open Turbine Operator (TO), as well as a Certificate IV in Electricity Supply Industry Generation (Operations).
Job Responsibilities:
* Maximizing operational performance by monitoring, fault-finding, and taking corrective action.
* Working safely within the boundaries of our Safety System and Environmental Procedures and Policies.
Key qualifications include relevant engineering trade or related qualification partnered with several years of post-trade experience in heavy industry. Alternatively, applicants can apply without trade qualifications if they have a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in power generation or heavy industry.
