Job Overview
This role involves utilizing SCADA programming and troubleshooting skills to work with a variety of professionals within the renewable energy industry.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to travel to wind farms to assist with system issues and collaborate with their broader team.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and perform routine maintenance on SCADA systems as per the defined plan
* Provide Level 1 support for SCADA and OT systems at wind power parks
* Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting on SCADA hardware and software, including networks
* Install and configure SCADA systems
* Action technical support tickets and work orders through established processes
* Prepare comprehensive technical documentation
* Support SCADA engineers through onsite assistance and collaboration
* Be available for after-hours support and standby duties
* Act as a liaison between customers and service teams
Required Qualifications
* Degree in IT or related field
* Experience with server operating systems (Windows, Linux), SQL database management, and administrative functions
* Proficiency in C4C, TSL, MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce platforms
* Ability to travel regionally and adapt to changing environments
* Understanding of industrial SCADA systems and associated protocols
* Able to review technical specifications and design descriptions
* Familiarity with networking configuration, PLC programming, and communication protocols
* Knowledge of fiber optic principles and termination techniques
* Basic English skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
* Valid driver's license
