The consultancy market is large and they are seeking to expand the business significantly.
Responsibilities
The principal responsibility of the economist is to lead business development activities. He or she will lead the preparation of proposals and new business initiatives managing inputs from other members of staff. The economist has the responsibility of directing and controlling the day-to-day running of the company and providing guidance and direction to the board to ensure that the company's strategic objectives are fulfilled and targets are met or exceeded. The economist manages projects including client liaison, managing the project teams, the quality and timelines of deliverables, and financial control of project budgets.
Qualifications
The appointed person must be a self-starter, able and willing to take initiative, be a solid team player, and able to relate productively with our team of professionals and the members of the board.
