Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Sydney. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in conducting detailed and accurate cost analyses, estimates, and feasibility studies for construction projects.
* Conduct thorough and accurate cost analyses, estimates, and feasibility studies for construction projects.
* Be technically proficient in all aspects of pre and post contract QS services.
* Manage client expectations and maintain strong client relationships.
* Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, including junior staff.
* Take ownership of a portfolio of projects across different sectors.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
1. Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
3. Membership in a recognized Professional Body (e.g., AIQS, RICS, CIOB).
4. Strong knowledge of the local construction industry, including development, contracting, and consulting sectors.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Self-motivation, integrity, honesty, and ethics.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Skills in client file management, planning, and organization.
