Job Summary
The Signal Group is one of Australia's largest staff identification and branded merchandise providers. Based from our manufacturing facility and distribution centre in South‐East Queensland, we service clients Australia wide, supplying customised name badges, personal and ID security solutions, awards, trophies, promotional products, workwear, apparel, headwear and signage.
Key Responsibilities
* Create production templates for printed, manufactured and outsourced products
* Efficiently store artwork and templates with accuracy
* Quick response print file creation from inbound design requests
* Create proofs through Indesign/Illustrator for production samples and client approval
* Follow the production art process so jobs are accurate and ready for production
* Be part of the production team to ensure accuracy of finished products
* Update, add and remove products as required, including imagery, prices and description
* Troubleshoot and problem solve to enhance customer experience with sales portals and website
* Ensure accurate master data management alignment with ERP system
* Improve website and portal layout, text, graphics etc
* Create images and designs for online products or promotional activity
* Opportunity to learn and operate a wide range printing equipment such as name badge digital printers, laser cutting software, resin doming machines and heat press machines as required in production environment
* Collaborate with other team members including sales team, graphic designers and production team leaders/managers to ensure timely completion of printing projects
Your Background
* Tertiary Qualification in Graphic Design
* 3+ years experience as a Graphic Designer
* Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and their backend processes (Shopify)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy and able to work to briefs
* Well organized and able to multi task while managing deadlines and competing priorities
* Graphic design skills including Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure, working to tight deadlines within a fast‐paced environment
* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
* Must be self‐motivated, and have a positive can‐do attitude
* Passion for customer service
