About the Opportunity
We are seeking initiative-taking medical professionals with strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills to join our high-performing team. As an ICU Senior Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 onsite medical care, conducting continuous clinical development, and engaging in hospital quality initiatives.
* Reporting to the Intensivists, you will work closely with a supportive team to deliver exceptional patient care.
* Provide critical medical care and coordination for ICU/HDU patients.
* Assist in resuscitation and transport of critically ill patients.
* Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and audits.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Full registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
* Current membership with a Medical Defence Organisation.
* In your 4th or 5th year towards specialization level.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork attitude and skills.
