Brunel has partnered with a leading resources company on a contract opportunity for a Field Test Engineer.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in autonomous haulage systems (AHS) and a strong understanding of field testing in mining environments.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute on-site testing processes to verify AHS functionality at the system integration level.
* Calibrate and verify integrated vehicle control systems and sensors.
* Identify and troubleshoot hardware/software integration faults in autonomous systems.
* Align testing with technical integration goals and engage engineers, architects, and OEM partners to ensure seamless system integration and verification.
* Mitigate risks in integrated system environments and adhere to engineering standards and protocols.
* Track metrics to verify compliance with AHS system standards.
* Provide detailed reports on integration test outcomes, defects, and system readiness for further development.
