About the Role:
This firm have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate/Special Counsel to join their well-regarded Government Advisory team.
Working alongside two leading partners across this space this role will focus on working closely with a particular Commonwealth Government agency.
This is an excellent chance to join a collaborative team and have carriage of running your own matters.
In this role you will be involved in:
- Drafting summaries of evidence and statements of issues
- Assisting and attending case conferences and hearings
- Conducting directions hearings
- Drafting litigation strategies
- Complex statutory interpretation
About You:
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
- At least 6 years PQE, ideally with experience in government advisory work or Dispute Resolution, and have a genuine interest in administrative law and statutory interpretation.
- You will have good drafting skills, excellent communication skills and a collegiate approach.
- Take a proactive approach
- Can do attitude
- Be able to mentor juniors
