The Queensland Police Service is seeking a Prosecutor to provide legal advice and prosecution services within the Mt Isa Police Prosecution Corps, a medium-sized establishment responsible for police-related matters in the Mt Isa Magistrates Court District and circuit courts across various locations including Birdsville, Boulia, Camooweal, Cloncurry, Dajarra, Julia Creek, and the Gulf Circuit.

Your Key Accountabilities
* Provide prosecution services for the designated area.
* Represent the Service and its members in legal proceedings before Magistrates, Children's, and Coroners Courts.
* Offer legal advice on court processes within your area of responsibility.
* Ensure the quality of briefs of evidence provided by police is maintained.
* Collaborate with police, legal professionals, government agencies, and the community to achieve effective policing outcomes.
* Identify environmental factors affecting work and contribute to legal research, submissions, and advice.
* Maintain high standards of performance and conduct daily activities effectively.
Role Requirements
Mandatory: Admission, eligibility, or entitlement to practice as a legal practitioner in Queensland. Applications remain current for 12 months.
