The Client:
With a national presence, our client is one of the fastest-growing retail landlords in the property market. On a local platform, they are a recognised leader, owning some of Adelaide's well-known shopping centres. It's with much pride that we are able to assist in sourcing a Facilities Manager to manage a portfolio of shopping centres in the vibrant city /city fringe district.
The Role:
* Manage all aspects of the optional maintenance of centres
* Monitoring on-site fit-outs on a daily basis
* Ensure all commercial and retail fit-outs comply with tenancy fit-out requirements
* Control all contractors on site to ensure the quality of works performed and the health and safety standards are met
* Take control of all FM budgets relating to the precinct
* Producing an annual budget and gaining approvals
* Providing a 10 year Capex program
* Liaise with tenants on all operational issues that affect them
* Ensure the building is managed to the highest possible standard with regard to sustainability and energy management
The Ideal Candidate:
* A relevant engineering or trade qualification
* Excellent HVAC knowledge
* Facilities/Operations Management experience in retail complexes & shopping centres
* A demonstrated ability to manage a large retail asset
* Effectively managed budgets, tenders and financial compliance with an ability to assist in the development of high-level reporting
* Experience with sustainability, NABERS and energy management generally
* Exceptional presentation
