About the Role
Exciting opportunity for an experienced sonographer to join our specialist teams at Radiology Tasmania and Women's Imaging – Hobart on either a part‐time or full‐time basis. We have brand new GEVoluson machines operating across our Hobart clinics. This role is ideal for those looking to work in a dynamic environment and specialize in breast, obstetrics and/or gynaecology procedures. Upskilling opportunities are available for candidates wishing to broaden their scanning abilities outside these competencies. Relocation support is offered to candidates based interstate or overseas.
Responsibilities
* Conduct a variety of scans, focusing on breast, obstetrics and/or gynaecology.
* Enjoy a varied caseload mix within private clinic work and a state‐of‐the‐art dedicated breast imaging clinic.
* Collaborate with the National Ultrasound Leader, Site Chief and/or Regional Manager on growth initiatives for the clinic.
* Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.
* Ensure rooms are restocked, cleaned and patients are finalized.
Qualifications
* Graduate Diploma or Master's in Medical Ultrasound with current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
* Ideally 2+ years of postgraduate ultrasound experience.
* Strong competency across breast, obstetric and/or gynaecology ultrasound scanning.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people.
