Position Summary
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) to join our team in Sydney.
Your Role
Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories and electrical systems.
Conducting routine pre-flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment.
Maintaining thorough records of actions taken.
Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment.
Testing, maintaining, replacing and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
Essential Requirements
2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft).
Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical), (Structures) or (Avionics).
Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
Strong team player.
Ability to follow supervisory direction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Consistent positive and proactive attitude.
Passion for safe work practices.
Valid work visa.
Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain).
Current Australian Driver's licence.

We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Sydney before applying.
Shift Details
Shifts will be primarily a rotating shift roster that includes both day and night shift.
