About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Analyst – International Markets - Analyst in International Business to expand Peru's commercial presence in Australia and New Zealand.
As a Business Development Analyst – International Markets, you will play a key role in enhancing Peru's commercial footprint in Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on priority sectors such as goods and services exports. Your mission will be to identify and develop business opportunities that connect Peruvian exporters with Australian and New Zealand importers, buyers, and investors. By fostering strategic, sustainable, and mutually beneficial relationships, you will contribute to expanding market access, facilitating trade, and positioning Peru as a competitive and reliable partner in the region.
Responsibilities
* Develop and strengthen international trade relationships by connecting exporters with global buyers, facilitating high-value commercial opportunities and sustainable trade partnerships.
* Design and execute targeted marketing and trade promotion strategies, including market intelligence, business matchmaking, and sector-specific campaigns.
* Identify new market opportunities and support exporters in accessing and expanding within competitive global markets.
* Act as a strategic liaison between public and private stakeholders, chambers of commerce, trade bodies, and international partners.
Qualifications & Skills
Academic Background
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Engineering, or related fields.
* A Master's degree in any of the above fields is highly desirable.
Professional Experience
* Minimum of four (4) years of general experience in the public and/or private sector.
* At least five (3) years expertise in global supply chain management, chamber of commerce relations, or export growth across international private or public sector.
Courses and/or Specialisation Programs
* A total of ninety (90) accumulated hours of training in:
* oBusiness management
* oInternational trade management
* oInternational marketing
* oCustoms management
* oExport business planning
* oProject design and development for investment in productive sectors and supply chains
Computer Skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Languages
* Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).
* Proficiency in Spanish.
