Role details The Operational Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Groundsperson to join their team on a permanent basis. Your opportunity This position will be responsible for providing a clean, safe and pleasant grounds environment which is maintained, adhering to the principles of Workplace Health and Safety and Infection Control. About the Team Operational Services provides and co-ordinates a diverse range of services that support the clinical divisions in the delivery of patient centred health care at Mackay Base Hospital. The department consists of the following keys areas: Cleaning Services; Wardsperson Services; Waste Management; Grounds and Gardens; and Patient Equipment Loan Store (PELS). About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
