About the role
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Workshop Manager to join our team at Ultra Tune Tuggeranong ACT. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our automotive workshop, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality services to our customers.
What you'll be doing
* Managing and coordinating the work of the workshop technicians to ensure all vehicles are serviced and repaired in a timely and professional manner
* Overseeing the maintenance of workshop equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order
* Monitoring and maintaining workshop safety and compliance standards
* Communicating with customers to understand their needs and provide transparent information about the work required
* Preparing and analysing workshop reports to identify areas for improvement
* Assisting with the recruitment, training, and development of workshop staff
* Ensuring the workshop operates within budget and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as an Automotive Workshop Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry
* Technical knowledge of automotive systems
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Proficiency in using workshop management software and other relevant technologies
* A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality services
