(pro rata) Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Temporary up to 12 months and part-time working 30 hours per week About the Role We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Research Unit Secretary to provide exceptional, confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Unit and consulting team within the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Service. In this role, you’ll work independently, exercising sound judgement and authority to manage the department’s daily activities and priorities with minimal supervision. Your contribution will be vital in supporting effective patient care through accurate data management, meeting coordination, and quality monitoring. As a key member of the team, you’ll coordinate workloads, manage complex tasks, and liaise with hospital staff to ensure priorities are met efficiently. Your expertise and guidance will be essential in supporting less experienced colleagues, ensuring the smooth operation of the unit. About You You’re an organised and proactive professional with the ability to work independently under pressure while managing competing priorities. You bring strong judgement and initiative, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels.
