Your New Team
The Constitutional Law Team is a highly skilled group of 11 practitioners who specialize in constitutional and complex public law matters. The team provides strategic advice to the Attorney-General and Queensland government agencies on constitutional issues, statutory interpretation, and sensitive matters of public importance.
Your New Role
As a Senior Lawyer in the Constitutional Law Team, you will work on some of the State's most interesting and high-profile legal issues. You will provide advice to government on complex public law questions, assist in the preparation of matters for litigation in superior courts, and support the Solicitor-General on issues of State significance.

Your Skills Profile
* Eligibility to practice as a legal practitioner in Australia
* At least 4 years post-admission experience, ideally in government advisory, commercial litigation, or another complex area of practice
* Strong advisory skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new subject matter
* Clear written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide practical advice to clients
* A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team
* Motivation to grow expertise in constitutional and public law through mentoring and development opportunities
