The role
No two days are the same.
As a Lifestyle Support Worker, you will provide tailored, person‐centred support to clients, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
* Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
* Provide social support, community access and meaningful engagement
* Implementing behaviour support strategies and responding to behaviours of concern
* Promoting autonomy, choice and independence
* Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Supporting holistic and consistent care outcomes
Location
Sunshine Coast
Work hours
We provide 24/7 care, with shifts offered on a rotating roster, including:
* Monday to Sunday between 6:00am – 8:00pm
* Short shifts ranging from 2 to 6 hours
About you
You are:
* Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules
* Calm, confident and professional
* A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
* Committed to learning and ongoing professional development
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Experienced in managing and responding to behaviours of concern
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Experience in the following: Manual Handling, Safe Transfers, Personal Care & Mobility Support
* Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care), Community Services, or other relevant qualification or studying towards
* Working with Children Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* QLD Drivers Licence
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
