About The Role
Reporting to Finance and Internal Compliance Manager, this role is responsible for the end-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll across Australia and New Zealand. You will take ownership of payroll accuracy, ensure legislative compliance and contribute to ongoing process improvements within the payroll functions.
Key Responsibilities
Processing fortnightly payroll for Australia and New Zealand.
Manage PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, and all relevant legislative reporting.
Calculating and entering timesheets and checking employee hours as per relevant awards.
Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
Maintaining payroll operations and records by following policies and procedures.
Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies and queries.
Fortnightly and monthly payroll reporting and reconciliation.
Facilitate Workers Compensation processes.
Supporting audits and financial planning process.
Other ad-hoc duties, consistent with the level of appointment as directed by the Finance and Internal Compliance Manager.
About You
Qualifications in Accounting or Business Administration.
2-3 years experience in a similar payroll.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
ConnX & Micropay experience preferred.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Highly organised with exceptional time management skills including the ability to manage competing and/or changing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
Clear and confident communication—both written and verbal
