Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Urban Planner to join our team in Sydney. This is a contract role with an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the local community.
The role is for 35 hours per week, and work-from-home options are available for up to 3 days per week after an initial onboarding period.
As a Senior Urban Planner, you will work closely with our Team Leader to deliver planning projects and activities that shape the future of the local area.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing planning policies, land use strategies, and planning agreements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience in urban planning, ideally within a Local Council or NSW Government setting.
* Strong understanding of planning processes, including planning proposals, LEPs, and DCPs.
* Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent prioritization and deadline management skills.
* Knowledge of planning legislation, state planning policies, and planning instruments.
