What You'll Be Doing The Sonographer will provide quality, sustainable diagnostic imaging services, actively participating in a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-focused care to patients, clients, and clinicians of Southern NSW LHD.
Selection Criteria Post-graduate qualifications in ultrasound and current Registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR). Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse populations. Competence in general ultrasound exams, including MSK, obstetrics, and interventional imaging. Ability to work in a team, manage workloads, and participate in on-call duties. Skill in interpreting requests, selecting, and adapting protocols for clinical scenarios. Ongoing professional development and contribution to supervision or training of others. Knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to medical imaging and service sustainability. Current unrestricted driver's license and willingness to travel, including long distances and overnight stays.
