Fire and Safety Australia (FSA) is a registered training organisation (RTO: 22250) and a leader in emergency response and safety training, as well as emergency response and medical personnel services. Established in 2007, FSA is a truly national business with training and Medical and Emergency response personnel in every state and territory of Australia. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive growth within the Training Division of FSA.

About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales professional to join our team in the Brisbane or Melbourne offices. This role is critical in supporting FSA's expansion and growth, as we continue to strengthen our presence in the industry. You will manage existing client relationships and actively seek new business opportunities across the safety and emergency response sectors. This is an office based role where all communication with clients will be via phone, email and teams.

About the Role
As an Internal Sales professional, you will:
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a strong client base
* Identify new business opportunities in safety and emergency response training
* Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders
* Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to drive business growth
* Support clients end‐to‐end, ensuring an exceptional experience
* Work across diverse industries, including Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Defence, Government, and Infrastructure
* Develop and implement growth strategies and plans
* Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients
* Identify and secure new sales opportunities
* Prepare business proposals and negotiate contracts
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity
* Report on sales performance and areas for improvement
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, ideally in selling to the mining industry, RTO or safety industry
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‐building skills
* Experience using CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
* A proactive, results‐driven attitude with a client‐focused approach
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Commitment to compliance and confidentiality
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
