Technology Enterprise Architecture - drive the technology roadmap Work closely with the CDIO Full time, permanent position.
Hybrid, 2 days pw in the office Our client is a well-established and growing organisation in the healthcare space that focuses on the need of patients rather than their condition.
The Enterprise IT Architect is a newly created position reporting to the CDIO to define the technology roadmap and provide senior technical design and planning capabilities across IT.
You will be responsible for designing current and future state architecture plans, define technology guardrails, implement an architecture review board and essentially act as the right hand person to the CDIO.
This role will entail discovery work and recommendations on future state architecture within an existing and modern technology environment, strategic technical thinking and the ability to sell the vision to the rest of the business.
In this role you will: Establish a deep understanding of the business strategy, operating model, patient needs and staff expectations.
Establish rapport with strategic business partners and vendors.
Be aware of the business strategic direction and be an agent for technology change.
Align and/or streamline IT to required business processes and strategies.
Be responsible for pre-business case architectural artefacts (solution options and high-level architecture).
Assess and communicate the impacts, trade-offs, risks, costs, benefits and opportunities of proposed IT solutions.
Lead the assessment of needs, research and definition of a Digital & IT strategy to achieve long term technology enablement and business outcomes.
Promote the architecture direction and technology standards across the organisation.
Create appropriate frameworks to enable discussion and decisions regarding the use of technologies across the organisation.
Your experience will include: Significant experience as a seasoned IT professional, as an Enterprise Architect within a complex, distributed technology environment.
An innovative mindset, able to identify and adapt new technologies to current business opportunities or challenges, alongside a strong problem-solving, can-do, lateral thinking approach to work.
Organisational skills that enable you to be across an array of complex platforms, projects and challenges at one time.
Demonstrated understanding of business drivers impacting IT systems.
Excellent understanding of business and functional requirements.
Ability to be involved in projects from inception through to deployment.
Highly developed inter-personal skills and able to interact at senior levels of the organization, including Executive team and Board/Owners.
Able to work independently and negotiate and influence the adherence to security patterns.
An ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas to both business representatives and IT colleagues.
Experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance or similar would be highly regarded What is in it for you?
