Mature Male Volunteer For Visits To Elderly Man
We are seeking a male volunteer who cares about the elderly and values building positive relationships through regular interactions (minimum once per fortnight).
Our elderly gentleman has worked as a journalist, writing columns about sailing. He enjoys discussing current affairs, watching news, sports and sharing his travel experiences in Australia and internationally.
As a mature male volunteer, you will play a vital role in enhancing this individual's life by engaging in meaningful conversations and showing genuine care and interest.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in someone's life while developing your communication skills and empathy.
Responsibilities include:
* Visiting our elderly gentleman on a regular basis
* Engaging in conversation on various topics
* Providing companionship and emotional support
Requirements:
* Male aged 18 years or older
* Ability to commit to regular visits
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* A caring and empathetic nature
