The Service Structure:
The Medicare Mental Health Services are accessible without appointments, referrals or Medicare cards. The new services in Burnie offer a streamlined approach for better mental health and wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities:
* Triage and intake of new referrals
* Conduct high-standard mental health assessments including case formulations, risk assessments, and recovery care plans
* Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions (individual and group programs)
* Collaborative consultation with consumers, families and relevant systems
Requirements:
* AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse OR Tertiary level education in Social Work with registration or eligibility with AASW
* Mental health assessment and evidence-based intervention expertise
* Computer skills and ability to maintain records; provide statistical data and reports
* Solution-focused attitude with commitment to service improvement activities and personal growth
