As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in making a positive difference in the lives of individuals by supporting them in their communities.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Leader on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in supporting individuals within care settings and possess or be willing to work towards SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification.
About the Role
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
1. Staff Management:
* Providing coaching and mentoring to front-line staff while offering support through regular supervision.
* Identifying training needs and ensuring that necessary training is provided.
* Producing the monthly rota for the team, taking into account budgetary requirements and ensuring all staff meet their contracted hours while managing holiday cover and absence.
* Developing the ability of the team to produce accurate and effective support plans.
* Covering on-call shift work as needed.
2. Supported Individuals:
* Planning and facilitating meetings with individuals and important people in their lives to gather information required for writing effective support plans.
* Matching supported individuals with staff members, considering identified outcomes and goals for each individual.
3. Organisational:
* Liaising with external agencies such as family members or Social Work Services.
* Ensuring that standards set by regulatory bodies and the organization's own standards are consistently met.
* Representing the organization's values when engaging with external agencies.
