Medical Director - Primary Health North
The Department of Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead the provision of medical services in Primary Health North (PHN).

Key Responsibilities:
* Clinical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and support to medical teams, ensuring high-quality patient care and evidence-based practice across services.
* Innovation & Strategy: Drive innovation in healthcare delivery models, leveraging technology and best practices to improve patient access, outcomes, and satisfaction.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate clinical performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and continuously improving care delivery processes.
* Collaboration & Team Building: Foster a collaborative culture with medical officers, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create cohesive teams and sustainable services.
* Patient Advocacy: Champion patient-centred care, ensuring that care is tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient and their rights.
* Education & Mentorship: Provide ongoing education, training, and mentorship to clinical staff, promoting professional growth and a culture of excellence.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be eligible for Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty, hold a Tasmanian Working with Children Registration, and possess a Current Driver's Licence.
