Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:The RoleVentia is currently looking to engage a Storeperson on our Defence Base Services Contract. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position will ensure that the Warehouse operates smoothly. You will be responsible for managing the supply chain process and handling customer orders and interactions. You will also take inventory of the warehouse stock and assist with furniture removal/relocation.This position is primarily based at Leeuwin Barracks, East Fremantle, but you may be required to travel to other Defence Bases across the Perth Metro area.This is a full-time permanent role, working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 04:00pm.The pay rate for this position is $26.75 per hour.To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.Ventia offers a flexible, supportive, and inclusive work environment where you matter.This role comes with the added security of being offered as a permanent position.Key duties include:Manage and process all goods in and goods out from receipting through to dispatch and ensure the accuracy of the processing of paperwork.Receipting inbound goods, unloading trucks & containers, checking goods & stock allocation.Undertake stock takes as required.Purchase order requesting, data entry, and monthly reporting through our operating system.Managing incoming/outgoing calls & communication with customers & clients.Assist with the relocation and removal of furniture within the barracks and other sites.Respond to after-hours call outs as required.Requirements:Current Driver’s Licence – MR Class highly regarded.Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite.Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a small team.The CompanyVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
