**Your Impact**
Reporting into the Group Head of EHS Governance, Systems & Assurance, we have a great opportunity available for an Audit and Assurance Manager to oversee the audit and assurance program for Environment, Safety and Wellbeing (ESW) for all areas of the business including manufacturing (beer, non-alcoholic beverages), warehousing and logistics, craft brewery, coffee roastery, commercial and sales, hospitality.
**Key responsibilities**
- Develop, coordinate and execute an internal and external audit program to provide the Executive team and Board with an appropriate level of assurance on the ESW management system
- Define ESW assurance requirements for all areas of the business against legal and regulatory standards
- Achieve and maintain certification requirements where appropriate (ISO14001 & 45001)
- Support the Environment Manager to ensure Environmental audit and assurance plans are implemented
- Lead the process to identify and review the critical controls for material unwanted events and drive critical control verification through reporting and governance structures
- Collaborate with ESW managers to define site-based assurance requirements
- Design, develop and review processes to ensure the quality, and the timely implementation of actions and improvements from assurance activities
- Subject matter expert on management system requirements, including ISO14001 & 45001
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes regular regional and interstate travel across multiple sites in Australia.
**About You**
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Lead Auditor Qualifications
- Formal training in ISO 45001: 2018 and/or 14001:2015 is required
- 2-3 years' experience within medium to large organisations in the Environment Health & Safety and/or assurance function
- Proven experience in the implementation of Health & Safety and/or Environment Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
- Exposure to Environment Health & Safety Federal, state and local regulations
- Formal qualifications in environment, health and/or safety, preferred to diploma level
- Experience in any of the following areas is favourable: FMCG operations, other manufacturing, mining, logistics, hospitality or commercial sales
- Ability to deliver in a dynamic, fast paced environment
