Job Role Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate individuals to join our team as disability support workers.
This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals with varying levels of need, focusing on assisting with personal care, domestic duties, and community access.
Key responsibilities:
* Delivering individualised care and support to clients in their homes
* Assisting with daily living tasks, such as showering, dressing, and medication management
* Supporting clients to engage in social activities and access community resources
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
In order to succeed in this role, you will require experience working with people with disabilities, dementia, and mental health conditions. Hoist training or a willingness to learn is also essential.
A strong foundation in communication and teamwork skills is vital for success in this position. Additionally, the ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening, and night shifts, is required.
We seek applicants who hold current WWCC, NDIS Screener Check, and National Police Check certifications. Essential qualifications include Cert II or III in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field from a nationally recognised provider.
