About the role: We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Buyer to support Pulse’s buying and merchandising team. In this dynamic role and hands on role, managing offshore production and suppliers, you’ll assist with purchase orders, sample approvals, and product data management to ensure all projects run smoothly from concept to delivery. Key Responsibilities: Support the buying team with day-to-day management of production and supplier coordination. Track sample development, approvals, and production timelines, liaising with offshore production teams. Maintain accurate product information (styles, colours, sizes, costs) in internal systems. Monitor order status, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines to ensure deadlines are met. Assist in analysing sales trends, stock levels, and supplier performance. Ensure compliance with quality standards and all documentation for imports (invoices, packing lists, compliance certificates). To be successful you will have: Minimum 3years of experience as an assistant buyer or product operations ideally within apparel and/or merchandise. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple timelines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including liaising with offshore suppliers and major accounts. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with merchandising, ERP, or project management systems. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. What’s in it for You? Your birthday off!
