Overview
As part of the Tony White Group, Trinity Auto Group is the largest automotive group in tropical Cairns – North Queensland. With the strong appeal of many desirable new car brands and an enthusiastic and motivated team, we require a passionate and dedicated sales professional who can add value and build lasting positive relationships with customers and peers alike. Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, you will be required to plan, direct, monitor, and control all aspects of a multi‐franchise new and used vehicle sales operation on a standalone dealership site.
Responsibilities
* Communicate with key staff and teams daily for effective management of duties and responsibilities toward sales success, efficiency, and high‐level customer satisfaction.
* Monitor sales process and data entry using existing systems for effective prospecting, vehicle demonstration, customer contact, closing, accessory sales, and vehicle delivery; assist teams and individuals with achieving vehicle sales, finance, insurance, and aftermarket performance in line with business objectives and industry standards.
* Oversee vehicle ordering and inventory management, working closely with department managers to ensure stock levels and mixes are adequate for sales objectives; maintain vehicle displays and condition to a high standard.
* Initiate and oversee the success of monthly marketing campaigns; ensure digital KPIs are being met.
* Communicate, liaise, and negotiate with internal and external partners to facilitate the development and profitability of the business while maintaining professional and sustainable relationships.
* Lead by example and create a positive, professional, and dynamic sales environment every day for employees and customers alike; maintain a professional personal presentation.
Skills
* Superior understanding of sales leadership, management, sales processes, and strategic execution.
* Drive to be successful and ability to motivate others in a fast‐paced, professional sales environment.
* Critical thinking skills for good decision‐making in a leadership role.
* Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with a positive can‐do attitude.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Pentana DMS, Autogate, and lead‐management systems.
* Essential experience with Pentana DMS and Autogate systems is required as training will not be provided.
Requirements
* Minimum of 1‐2 years of experience in a senior vehicle sales role.
* Previous industry success and experience in a senior vehicle sales role.
* Must be physically in Australia and be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold a permanent residency visa.
