About the Role
Beside is seeking an experienced Cadastral Surveyor to support our expanding project portfolio. As a Cadastral Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting cadastral surveys for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
The role involves boundary re-establishments, subdivisions, easement surveys, building set-outs, and preparation of survey plans for lodgement with Titles Queensland.
This opportunity is ideal for a registered/endorsed Surveyor with strong ability to work autonomously and proficient in total stations, GPS, and data processing software.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct cadastral and engineering field surveys to a high professional standard
* Manage survey data, calculations, and plan drafting (12d, AutoCAD, or similar)
* Liaise with engineers, planners, and clients to deliver integrated project outcomes
* Prepare and sign off survey plans in accordance with the Surveyors Act and Survey and Mapping Infrastructure Regulation
* Ensure compliance with QA/QC and safety requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A degree in Surveying or related field
* Strong knowledge of surveying standards, title boundaries, and cadastral principles
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Proficient in software applications relevant to cadastral surveying
