Through research and the provision of preventative evidence-based treatment, The Kidman Centre UTS is dedicated to reducing the prevalence of mental health problems in young people aged 5 to 25.

**_ We seek an energetic Administrative Assistant to join our small team of 10 staff to help us to manage the administration of the centre and to oversee our psychology clinic._**

This role is shared with another staff member, and we are seeking support from someone who is flexible to work 3 days per week (21 hours) on site between Monday to Thursday.

You will work as part of a team committed to ensuring young people and their families have access to the best possible evidence-based mental health treatment available.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Providing administrative support (3 days per week, 21 hours) to all staff of the centre and its director.
- Developing, implementing, maintaining and refining effective and efficient administrative systems.
- Undertaking reception duties for the psychology clinic, including responding to prospective client enquiries, booking clients, and confirming appointments (this clinic has two part-time psychologists).
- Mailouts to assist with fundraising efforts of the centre.
- Office management duties.

**We want you to bring to the role**:

- A strong customer service focus
- The ability to take responsibility to ensure efficient administrative procedures.
- Strong IT skills including expertise, or demonstrated ability to acquire expertise, in UTS systems.
- Self-motivated, the ability to troubleshoot and work autonomously as well as part of a team, and reliable.
- Professional experience within a psychology clinic or other health setting is highly desirable.

**With examples, please outline in a separate document how you meet the following four (4) key selection criteria points below**:
1. Three years' experience at minimum in a previous administrative role (reception experience desirable).
2. Demonstrated track record of delivering good customer service and reception duties (answering phone calls, booking appointments).
3. Demonstrated ability to arrange meetings and small events.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Desirable criteria**:
5. Professional experience within a psychology clinic or other health setting

**Remuneration**

**Base Salary Range: $69,224 to $74,043 pa (HEW 4) (pro-rata)**

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension)** in addition to** the base salary.

This position is **part-time** and appointment will be made on a **fixed term basis of 3 years.**
