Delivering products to customers in Perth is a key aspect of the role, as is managing local site runs and covering additional runs as required. Customer service skills and performance in-store are paramount, with truck driving being an important but secondary aspect of the role.
About the Role
Serve builders and tradies at the counter and over the phone, prepare quotes and manage procurement, build strong customer relationships, handle weekly deliveries and assist with logistics and stock control.
What You'll Bring
Trade sales or building supplies experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, MR licence (or higher) and forklift licence – or willingness to obtain within one month, medium-level computer skills and a willingness to learn, a hands-on, team-first attitude, clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years, ability to safely lift and carry items up to 20kg and remain standing for extended periods, pass pre-employment medical assessment and drug screening.
