Role Highlights:
* Work on cutting‐edge projects with a global industry leader.
* Utilise manual lathes up to our 100t lathe, with training provided.
* Read and interpret mechanical drawings with precision.
* Disassemble and reassemble mechanical equipment in alignment with QA procedures.
* Repair or replace components such as shafts, gears, seals, impellers, and more.
* Collaborate with a talented team in a safety‐conscious environment.
* Use measuring equipment and maintain accurate check sheets.
What you will be doing day to day:
* Follow strict safety procedures and use appropriate protective gear.
* Utilise manual lathes up to 100t, with comprehensive training provided.
* Operate milling machines and borers proficiently.
* Read and understand complex mechanical drawings.
* Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical assemblies.
* Lift, tighten, adjust, and secure heavy objects as required.
What you will bring to Sulzer:
* Trade Certificate III Fitter and Turner.
* Experience in mechanical machining of large equipment (pumps, fans, gearboxes, turbines).
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
* Proven ability to work in accordance with quality assurance procedures.
