The opportunity centers on supporting strategic procurement across non‐clinical services, working alongside the Senior Corporate Category Manager to drive improvements in quality, safety and efficiency. The role plays a key part in shaping category strategies, ensuring accountability for corporate spend, and strengthening relationships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and HealthShare NSW to deliver better organisational outcomes.

* Contribute to improving quality, safety and efficiency across corporate procurement and contract management activities within a leading NSW Health district.
* Support a team committed to delivering safe, high quality and personalised health services for our community.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and HealthShare NSW to strengthen procurement and contract outcomes across SWSLHD.
* Develop and implement sourcing and contract management approaches that ensure value for money and align with NSW Health and Whole of Government frameworks.
* Be part of a supportive procurement environment that values collaboration, openness, respect and empowerment.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, confidence engaging diverse stakeholders and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement. They thrive in a collaborative environment, understand the importance of effective contract and category management, and are motivated by contributing to system‐wide enhancements in value, performance and service delivery.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to carefully review contract requirements and performance.
* Confident in negotiating, managing contract relationships and ensuring commitments are met.
* Analytical thinker who enjoys identifying risks, opportunities and improvements across procurement and contract processes.
* Experience within procurement, tendering and contract management within a large or complex organisation.
* Understanding of contract lifecycle processes, procurement policy, supply chain functions and market conditions.

* Describe your experience applying NSW Health procurement policies, including compliance with HealthShare NSW and Whole of Government contracts? Please provide an example where you ensured a procurement process met policy, probity and governance requirements.
* Provide an example of how you used data (e.g., spend analysis, contract performance, KPIs) to solve a procurement problem or support a strategic decision.
