We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Modern Australian dishes, using fresh, seasonal produce from our curated menu
- Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and appealing presentation
- Assist with stock management, ordering, and minimising food waste
- Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Mentor and supervise junior kitchen staff and trainees
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and management on menu innovation, specials, and customer experience
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Chef in a quick-paced café or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of Modern Australian cuisine and passion for fresh ingredients
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Creative, detail-oriented, and a genuine team player
