We are seeking a self-driven Asbestos Operations Manager to work on various contracts in the Midlands region. The ideal candidate will possess P402/P403/P404 certificates or equivalent RSPH or S301/CCP qualifications, substantial practical experience in the asbestos industry, and strong technical, office, management, sales, accounts, consultancy, and operational skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring UKAS accreditation is maintained, managing and developing a team of surveyors, analysts, and staff, running operations, updating databases, producing management plans, quotations, and overseeing administrative staff.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain UKAS accreditation
* Manage, develop, and train a team of surveyors, analysts, and staff
* Run operations, including office, site staff, and clients
* Update databases, produce management plans, quotations, and oversee administrative staff
* Liaise with clients and general public professionally
* Comply with quality and technical procedures
* Attend sites, carry out audits, and report findings
* Produce accurate asbestos reports, method statements, risk assessments, and associated site paperwork
* Assist with tenders and quotations
* Ensure projects are completed within specified time scales
* Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients
* Develop new business leads
