It delivers clear and concise guidance for assessing, managing, and referring patients across WA. Since 2015, the team has proudly developed over 650 clinical and referral pathways for clinicians to use during patient consults and the number of new & returning users continues to grow. About your team The WAPHA Clinician Assist team is a dedicated and results-oriented team of Coordinators and experienced General Practitioners (working as Clinical Editors) who collectively develop and deliver the clinical and referral content found on the Clinician Assist WA website (previously HealthPathways WA). Their commitment to the delivery of high-quality content is the foundation of the website’s success. The team is led by a transparent and committed leadership team, that adopt a consultative and cooperative approach and provide a balance of clear direction and role autonomy. About the role Join our dynamic and experienced team as a Program Coordinator where your contributions lead to tangible and impactful outcomes, and successes are celebrated. In this crucial role, you will collate, publish and maintain referral information on the Clinician Assist WA website for GPs to use at the point of care via our content management system (CMS). You will collaborate with the GP Clinical Editors to support the concurrent development and review of clinical website content and work with internal and external stakeholders to maximise website uptake and engagement through the delivery of promotional and educational activities. Location: WAPHA Head Office, Level 2, 1 Hood Street, Subiaco (Hybrid) Salary: Band 4 ($87k -$94k Plus 11.5% Superannuation) Employment Type: Full-time Ongoing Key tasks and responsibilities: Engage with a variety of stakeholders from community health services, public hospitals and WA Department of Health teams to gather and update referral information on Clinician Assist WA. Undertake content drafting, structuring and editorial activities with a focus on quality, consistency and accuracy. Create and maintain content on the Clinician Assist WA website using WAPHA’s nominated Content Management System (CMS) (currently WordPress). Provide operational support (such as record keeping) to the GP Clinical Editors, supporting their progression and maintenance of clinical content development in collaboration with their subject matter experts. Management of the team’s shared inbox and responding to stakeholder and website user queries or feedback, providing excellent customer service. Maintain accurate documentation of work progress and adhere to record keeping procedures. Undertake administrative duties, including chairing meetings, minute-taking and contributing to reporting requirements, as required. Promote the use and uptake of Clinician Assist WA by supporting the preparation, promotion and delivery of educational sessions and website demonstrations. Complete audits and quality improvement activities within the team, as directed. About you To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following selection criteria: Essential experience and education A tertiary qualification in human services, project management, health-related field (or similar), or equivalent experience in a similar role. Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Exceptional written communication and grammatical skills, with a strong focus on detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data entry. Excellent verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with clinical or healthcare terminology. Knowledge of the WA health system, with an understanding of or experience in primary health care (highly regarded). Experience in content creation, procedure development, or contributing to written publications, promotional or educational resources (highly regarded). Experience with Content Management Systems (highly regarded).
