Role Overview:
The Account Manager plays a crucial role in managing major hardware/retail customers by growing the market share of engineered building products within the defined region. This role will manage the company's largest hardware account and will be responsible for proactively maintaining and growing the account, along with managing several smaller accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage key stakeholder engagement with all customers within the portfolio, forming strong relationships across all levels.
* Plan and maintain a regular call cycle and proactively act on customer issues, competitor activities, and industry trends.
* Generate product sales and meet budgets and KPIs.
* Maintain customer data in Salesforce.
* Have a strong knowledge of product ranges and services, and act as an expert.
Skills & Attributes:
* A demonstrated track record of high performance in relationship management within the construction industry.
* Awareness and knowledge of the hardware channel.
* Account management experience in the hardware/trade retail space.
* Strong ability to build, manage, and influence stakeholder relationships.
* Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
