RF Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design documentation testing of microwave RF products collaborating with Production Defence Projects teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design simulation electrical electronic hardware part products component module level
* Optimise component selections balancing performance price availability
* Work RF mechanical teams achieve design objectives
* Create accurate BOMs provide quality documentation manufacturing testing products systems
* Take hands-on role championing prototype designs build test troubleshooting stages
* Design verification testing including compliance external standards EMI EMC commercial aerospace military applications
* Environmental reliability testing products larger systems
* Manage test schedules write detailed test plans procedures performance reports
* Build test jigs write test software
* Knowledge RF microwave principles best practice
* Skilled PCB design techniques
* Ability use RF design software packages ADS Genesys
* Familiar RF test equipment VNA Spectrum analyser Power meter etc.
* Good understanding electronic circuits especially EMI minimisation techniques
* Exceptional time management attention details
* Ability work cooperatively team environment
* Analytical problem solving capabilities
* Strong written interpersonal communication skills
* Proficiency MS Office suite produce variety documentation
Requirements:
* Degree Electrical Electronics engineering
* 2 5 years experience design RF/microwave related hardware components equivalent
* Proven experience using Altium software
* Experience system level concepts satellite electronics equipment advantage
* Possession Australian defence security clearance baseline minimum NV1 preferred
