Your new companyYou'll be joining a large public sector organisation that plays a key role in delivering transport infrastructure and essential services across the region. The team is supportive, process‐driven and committed to maintaining high standards of procurement governance.Your new roleAs an AO4 Procurement Officer, you will support end‐to‐end procurement activity across a diverse range of infrastructure projects. You'll provide advice, ensure compliance with internal and whole‐of‐government procurement policies, and assist senior advisors with more complex procurement activities. This role involves a strong balance of stakeholder engagement, administration, process management and continuous improvement.Key Duties:Interpreting and applying procurement policy, procedures and whole‐of‐government requirements.Monitoring and reviewing end‐to‐end procurement activities including planning, documentation and administrative and practical support for complex procurement projects.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to provide guidance, training and communication on procurement processes.Maintaining spreadsheets, registers and reporting tools to ensure accuracy and transparency.Contributing to procurement process improvements and operational with asset management activities including sourcing, stocktake, lifecycle review and disposal.Occasionally supporting contract management tasks.Using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and other business systems to manage documentation and workflows.What you'll need to succeedYou will bring experience in procurement, purchasing or contract administration within a structured organisation, ideally government or large enterprise. You'll be confident interpreting policy, managing documentation, and supporting end‐to‐end procurement activity. Strong communication, stakeholder management and attention to detail are essential.
