You'll play an integral role in managing the financials for seven unique businesses, with complete ownership of everything from daily transactions to strategic decision-making support. What You'll Do
* Process invoices (AP/AR) for multiple companies in Xero and industry specific software.
* Manage payroll software, superannuation, and bank reconciliations
* Handle intercompany transactions across all entities
* Analyze Profit & Loss and monitor cash flow, tracking project profitability
* Prepare and lodge BAS, assist with external audits and year-end reporting
* Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting, cash flow forecasts and analyze performance
* Provide key financial insights to support Directors, Managers and other stakeholders.
* As you grow in the role, you'll provide strategic advisory on investments and business performance
What We're Looking For
* Qualifications: Finance or Accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in private enterprise, from data entry to financial reporting
* Xero Expertise: Extensive experience in Xero and Approval Max including multi-company setups and consolidated reporting via Joiin
* Skills: Strong in payroll legislation, BAS preparation, financial statements, and Excel
* Desirable: Experience in construction, and/or property trust accounting and/or multi company enterprises.
