Description
Reporting to the Head of Payroll, the Senior Payroll Officer plays a key role delivering end‐to‐end fortnightly payroll across multiple entities and states, while also contributing to compliance, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a genuinely well‐rounded role that combines:
* End‐to‐end payroll compliance and statutory reporting
* Continuous improvement, systems and automation initiatives
You will partner closely with People, Finance and the wider business to ensure payroll accuracy, integrity and a strong employee experience. Key responsibilities include:
* Deliver accurate and timely fortnightly payroll cycles across multiple states and entities
* Maintain strong payroll governance, controls and data integrity
* Produce payroll reporting
* Support and contribute to a major system implementation and transformation program
* Identify risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for process and system improvement
* Maintain payroll documentation, procedures and controls
Profile
* Strong senior‐level payroll experience within complex organisations
* Excellent knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
* Experience with SAP payroll, SucessFactors Employee Central and Spinifex reporting will be advantageous
* Exposure to payroll system upgrades, testing or implementations (desirable)
* A continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail
* Confidence managing competing priorities in fast‐paced environments
Job Offer
