Clinical Nurse Educator Position
St George Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing education and clinical support to nursing staff in the after-hours period.
About the Role
The Clinical Nurse Educator will provide coordination, delivery, and evaluation of clinical nurse education programs at the ward/unit level. This includes planning, implementing, and evaluating in-service education, orientation for new staff, and supporting ongoing educational needs.
* The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical nurse education positions with a strong understanding of adult learning principles.
* Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
* Computer literacy and understanding of hospital information systems are also required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality education to nursing staff on various topics related to patient care.
2. Mentor new staff members through orientation programs.
