About the Role
* Lead the administration of community recovery grants programs to ensure compliance with program guidelines and governance standards.
* Maintain grant program budgets and targets, ensuring funds are used effectively.
* Develop strategies for effective project delivery and provide specialist advice to senior management on governance and risk issues.
* Plan and deliver activities to promote and administer grants programs.
* Establish relationships with other Government agencies to ensure integrated program design and delivery.
* Lead and mentor a team, fostering professional development and collaboration.
About You
* Demonstrated knowledge of legislative requirements for grants administration in NSW, including the NSW Grants Administration Guide and Public Finance and Audit Act.
* Strong budget management skills and experience preparing high-quality briefings and providing expert advice.
* Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Leadership experience, guiding and developing team members to achieve their potential.
