Senior Risk Consultant
As a Senior Risk Consultant, you will play a key role in helping clients navigate the complexities of financial risk management.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end components of engagements, including the production of deliverables on time and to required quality standards, client management, and supervision of more junior team members.
Key responsibilities include delivering strategic advice and execution support to Australia's leading financial institutions, assessing and evaluating client financial and non-financial risks, providing risk and regulatory advice, designing risk management frameworks, conducting due diligence assessments, developing and implementing technology solutions, and contributing to thought leadership.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* 1+ years of experience in a financial services consulting firm or major financial institution, where you focused on one or more of the following disciplines:
o Risk culture, conduct and compliance
o Regulatory and risk reporting
o Financial crime
o Financial risk - credit, market, funding and/or liquidity risk
o Operational risk – general or in a technical area such as AI, data, technology and records risk
o Regulation and prudential supervision (including experience working with a regulator and/or EDR scheme)
o Risk technology
o Risk analytics
* Experience supervising consultants (for a Manager role)
* A high level of drive and initiative
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* A degree in finance, commerce, law, STEM or similar, with post-graduate qualifications or additional study viewed favourably
