We are seeking a proactive and client-focused General Insurance Broker to join our Wodonga team. Key Responsibilities:
* Assess client risk profiles and present appropriate insurance coverage options
* Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms and coverage
* Prepare clear, compliant documentation including quotes, proposals, and policy summaries
* Manage renewals, endorsements, and claims with precision and empathy
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders
* Stay current with market developments, regulatory changes, and product updates
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification
* Minimum 5 years' experience in general insurance broking or underwriting
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to interpret policy wordings and identify coverage gaps
* High attention to detail and commitment to compliance
* Client-first mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Desirable Attributes:
* Experience in rural or regional markets
* Familiarity with a broad range of general insurance products
* Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvement
