About the role: Reporting to the Director, Allied Health RAP, some of your duties for the role will include: Provide consultancy and peer support on complex cases Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of services provided by the allied health team and implementing service change and development accordingly Initiating and leading quality and service improvement activities, which may include research activities where appropriate Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting and adherence to resources allocations About you: Demonstrated skills in communication, liaison, administration and teamwork. Able to apply these skills in resolving management, administrative and professional problems, and in communicating with professional and management staff Ability to apply specialist skills in assessing and resolving clinical problems in multi-disciplinary consultation and liaison Clinical experience as a senior allied health practitioner within a subacute setting, including clinical experience with complex patients Recent experience working in a specialist geriatric inpatient unit The attached role description currently under review and may be adjusted prior to appointment.
